I heard he's dead and some kids found his body and poked it
with a stick and then Alan Shearer chased them off and then
the club paid their parents to keep them quiet until the end of the
season so as not to disrupt morale, and at the moment, they're
still propping his body up Weekend At Bernie's-style all over
St. James' Park at appropriate intervals and getting him to wave
at passers-by.

The guy who told me is _never_ wrong about this kind of stuff.
