I remember the first time my grandad took me to see the Hednesford Lesbian 
XI, back in 1973 when they were entertaining the Cannock Cock-Jockeys in the 
preliminary round of the Staffs. Homosexual Combination Cup.

I was too young to understand then, of course, but the memory of standing on 
that terrace on an icy-cold February night, with grampa rattling his dildo 
around like a madman, shouting 'Up the Munchers! Up the Carpet Munchers!' 
will abide with me for the rest of my natural life.

In that respect, it's strange that I'd completely forgotten about it until 
just now, I suppose.
